“Before she began, Mary sat with me for a few minutes, asking me about what I did for work, how much I exercised, what i ate, etc. She was very thoughtful about how she approached the appointment and me personally.”

- Suzanne S. (Watertown)

After personally experiencing the benefits of massage therapy in healing chronic
pain, Mary left her first career as a graphic designer and entered the wellness
industry so she could pass along those benefits to others.

She graduated from the Cortiva Institute in Watertown, MA with a strong foundation
in Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular and sports massage.
Mary’s work focuses on the connection between the nervous system and the
musculoskeletal systems; she believes the true power of massage lies in deeply
relaxing the body so it can begin to heal itself. She uses an intuitive process coupled
with advanced knowledge of anatomy and the structure of the human body to
provide sessions uniquely tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Mary believes that massage therapy plays a crucial role in health care and that
massage can combat chronic pain conditions and prevent a myriad of others. She
has a special interest in working with people with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue,
depression, anxiety, and conditions relating to aging such as Alzheimer’s and
Parkinson’s disease.
