“Jeffrey released about 12 years of tension with integrated deep tissue massage. I honestly hadn’t felt this calm and relaxed in my entire life.”  - Stephanie N. (Cambridge)

Jeffrey specializes in treating soft tissue strains resulting from sports, general injuries, or poor posture. He uses deep tissue, Trigger point, stretching, postitional release, and gentle massage in his sessions. His current training is preparing him to offer Structural Integration bodywork, an advanced approach to reversing long-term effects of injury and trauma.

Jeffrey McLeod entered the massage world on an interesting path.  He has been an engineer, a teacher, and a manager in restaurant and retail settings.  This varied past has made him a calm quiet listener—many people start feeling better just talking with him.  Jeffrey’s sessions are driven by a combination of both science and intuition.  Although he can see the body as a structural machine, he also understands that many patterns of tension come from emotional or postural sources.  By identifying and treating these areas, the client finds more ease in their bodies and in their lives.  Although he excels at “going deep,”  Jeffrey also acknowledges the power of a good relaxation massage.

After graduating from Cortiva Institute in Watertown MA with a 4.0 GPA, Jeffrey was immediately asked to be a Teaching Assistant and still enjoys that role today.  He is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Release, Sports Massage and, Myofascial Release.

“It can be a hard path that we all must walk.  I see it as my job to soften tissue and increase mobility so that each client can travel that path a little lighter and with more ease.  I see myself as a teammate for that journey.”  - Jeffrey McLeod
