Deborah Hunter-Jones
Deborah is a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy, located in Watertown, MA. She also holds a MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management in Boston, MA. She has held an enduring interest in therapeutic massage therapy, and decided to pursue this passion after a career serving in lending and operations roles in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
With comprehensive training in sports massage, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release and swedish massage, Deborah believes strongly in the benefits of therapeutic massage therapy, as supported by evidence based research studies. She is also certified in Reiki energy healing, oncology massage and Ayurvedic sacred stones therapy using warmed oils.
Deborah states, “My goal is to facilitate the healing process for each client, so that you leave each appointment feeling rejuvenated, and relaxed in mind, body and spirit. I strive to create balance, thereby empowering each client to take ownership of his/her health.”
Health concerns addressed include; injury prevention, pain management, sprains and strains, and stress relief. The treatment plan will include include easy self-care techniques that you can integrate into everyday activities.
Deborah is a mother of three. She is a voracious reader, loves art and drawing, enjoys cooking with her son, a recent graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school, and attending her youngest son’s soccer games. Motto: Live joyfully!
