Cara Paquette
“Cara Paquette did a wonderful job during the hour and my lower back felt near perfect when finished. What impressed me most: she moved my arms around to work out my back. That’s a sign of really massaging the muscles, not just the skin on top of them like most spas do.”
- J B. (Somerville)“I had a massage tonight with Cara. They have a $59 special for one hour with their newest massage therapists. She was excellent! Clearly very knowledgeable, asked all the right questions. The pressure she used was perfect, and I was very, very stiff. I feel so, so much better after my massage. And I totally recommend Cara! Thanks!”

Cara graduated from the professional massage therapy program at Cortiva with training in various modalities including swedish/relaxation, myofascial, and sports massage. She is also certified in reiki I and II.
Cara was inspired to become a massage therapist by the bodywork she received as part of her recovery from working long hours at an office, as well as injuries from a serious car accident in 2005. Cara’s sister Lea also practices bodywork on people and horses in Maine, and has been a powerful inspirational presence in Cara’s life.
Cara views massage as a way to help people immediately through relaxation, which she believes jump starts the body’s natural healing response. She believes that pain and tension are simply the body’s messages that it is out of balance, and she strives to facilitate the body’s return to its natural state of balance. She is happiest when contributing positively to the health and well-being of her clients.
Cara is available on Monday, Wednesday, and alternate Fridays & Saturdays.
