Bob graduated from East West College of Massage Therapy in Portland, Oregon in 1978 and has been practicing for 28+ years as a licensed professional bodyworker ever since. Bob has always placed tremendous importance on the value of continuing education as a way to best serve the needs of his clients. This burning desire to find out as much as he could about how the body works and how to serve the body’s own healing powers brought him face to face with some of the leading practitioners in the diverse field of health care.
In addition to his training, Bob has also spent years of practice in clinical settings, working with chiropractors, physical therapists as well as an orthodontist. Techniques employed include: Spinal Reflex Analysis, Rehab Myotherapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Connective Tissue Work, CranioSacral Therapy, Bio Energy Synchronization Technique, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular massage, Hot Stone massage and Positional Release Technique.

“The number one reason I got involved with massage thirty two years ago was a deep desire to help in alleviating suffering. That gave me purpose and I knew that I had found my place in the world. That deep desire and sense of purpose fueled my interest to find out as much as I can about how the body works and all the reasons why it could present pain. That led me to study with some of the top people in the field of Massage Therapy, in the field of Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Osteopathy.
I’ve also been very interested in trying to understand and how to come to terms with the ‘invisible’ causes of stress, specifically the mental/emotional levels and how spirit and/or energy fits into the picture. That led me to become an ordained Interfaith Minister where I could now employ Spiritual Counseling to help deal with matters of the Spirit. I have also trained in what I feel is cutting edge, ground breaking work with energy medicine in how to break the energetic patterning that precedes all physical maladies. This is offered under the heading of Matrix Energetics and Shamanic Healing. In the short time I have been doing this work, I have seen people move through major life changes in a matter of sessions instead of years that it could have taken in traditional psychotherapy. I am very excited about the transformative potential this work holds.”
